1. Comfort level: You can wear anything for an exercise. Just make sure that the clothes are comfortable and don’t slide down, ride up or chafe when you are performing a workout.
2. Protection: In summer, wear light clothes and apply sunscreen to the body; if you are planning to exercise outdoors. In winters, it is important that you wear clothing that will maintain your body temperature and keep you warm. Again the clothing should be comfortable.
3. Proper shoes: Wearing correct shoes for an activity is very important. You won’t be able to perform a workout if you are not wearing the right shoes. If you are planning for a weight-training and other low-impact activities routine then you should prefer to wear jogging or cross-training shoes. For running, walking or jogging, wear running shoes. If your are walking or jogging then wearing just tee shirt and shorts will do for now but if you are doing something that requires you to freely move but stay covered then wearing fitted clothes will be appropriate.
